If you have a dog, get used to talking them for a walk from day 1 and 🚮 their 🐶💩. It will make any future moves and housing options *far* easier.
I say this as someone who is staying in a hotel with pets for the first time (because of a stopover on the way to our destination).
Also definitely don’t have someone stay at home with them 24×7 all the time because there’s a pandemic and everyone’s doing remote work and school.
